Video 1: How to unbox and set up your new Medit i500 scanner 

First thing that you’re going to find when you unbox your scanner is your Medit i500 scanner.

The scanner will have a grey protective cap over the cover and you can just take that right off.
You will also see four interchangeable tips that pop right on and off (there will be another video on how to care for the tips).

Your scanner is going to plug into the fixed bottom, which has the holes and the receptacles for your power supply and for your USB cord.

Find your other boxes for your power supply cord and USB cord.
You’ll see there’s one for a regular USB 3 cord, one end of that cord goes into your scanner and the other end goes into your computer.

Before we can power the scanner on, we need to get our black medical adaptor for our power supply. One end goes into the bottom of the camera.
The final piece here is the grey power cord. We’ll plug that into the black power supply and the other end into power.

Once the power supply is plugged in, make sure you have green light on your power supply adapter and make sure the wall is powering it.

Then we’re ready to power on our scanner. 

On the bottom of your Medit scanner is a button, not the big blue button, but the button along the bottom.
Press and hold for one second, and your camera will light up and be turn on.

You also have your calibration tool (there will be another video on how to use), your desktop cradle and your wall mounted cradle.
