Your doctor referred you to us because he or she has your best interest in mind! Because of significant advances in dentistry and in dental imaging, we are now seeing things that used to be hidden from us on conventional x-rays. CAD-Ray (Computer Aided Design-Ray) now allows the practitioners to see objects in three dimensions. For example, the image on your left is a traditional x-ray we use in dentistry.
Compare that single image to the video of a 3D image and you will appreciate how much more information is gathered from 3D x-rays. Think of it as the dental version of an MRI or “CAT-Scan.”
